About the role
Responsible for reviewing, researching, and resolving appeals while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Escalates complex appeals as needed and communicates with members and providers on appeal resolution.
What you’ll do
• Review, evaluate, document, and track appeal documents. • Create quality written responses to appeals requests. • Prepare case files for Independent Review Entities. • Communicate with members and providers on appeal resolution. • Perform peer QA of appeal notification letters.
What you’ll bring
• High School or equivalent. • 1+ years appeals related experience or relevant skills. • Strong learning agility and enthusiasm for new skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards. • Solid oral and written communication skills.
