About the role
The Audit Accountant will examine financial records, transactions, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. They will manage audits and investigate discrepancies in financial and inventory records.
What you’ll do
• Audit receipt, storage, issuance, and usage of products and assets. • Conduct regular audits of financial records and supporting documents. • Maintain accurate and confidential audit records. • Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory. • Investigate stock shortages, variances, and possible fraud.
What you’ll bring
• Professional qualification like ICAN or ACCA preferred. • Strong understanding of auditing and internal control systems. • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance. • Minimum 3 years relevant auditing or accounting experience. • Experience in retail, FMCG, hospitality, or restaurant sectors.
