About the role
Build systems to automate drug-development workflows including peptide synthesis and laboratory instrumentation. Collaborate with scientists to turn manual processes into reliable automated systems.
What you’ll do
• Design and build electromechanical and fluidic systems. • Select and integrate pumps, valves, sensors, and controllers. • Develop controls for sequencing and fault detection. • Connect instruments and sample tracking into automated processes. • Build and debug prototypes and improve system performance.
What you’ll bring
• Hands-on experience with automation or laboratory instruments. • Strength in mechanical systems, electronics, fluidics, or controls. • Systematic troubleshooting across hardware and process conditions. • Ability to own subsystems and communicate tradeoffs. • Background in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
