About the role
Lead design and implementation of Deepgram’s Voice Agent backend services. Build scalable, secure speech processing and AI model integration systems.
What you’ll do
• Improve core inference services including networking and speech processing. • Develop integrations with AI models for conversational dynamics. • Debug complex system issues with networking and concurrency. • Customize backend services to support customer needs. • Partner with Product to design and implement new features.
What you’ll bring
• 3+ years industry experience. • Programming in Rust or C/C++ with Python competence. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong version control skills, preferably git. • Comprehensive UNIX system experience.
