About the role
Benefit & Eligibility Specialists determine financial eligibility for Medicaid programs and provide customer service in various settings. They handle interviews, verify eligibility, and document case information.
What you’ll do
• Complete financial eligibility determinations for Medicaid programs. • Schedule and conduct interviews with applicants. • Request and review eligibility verification documents. • Document actions and case information in HEAplus system. • Participate in team meetings and special projects.
What you’ll bring
• High school diploma or GED. • 6 months customer service experience minimum. • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare programs. • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. • Pass fingerprint background and employment verifications.
