About the role
Provide bioinformatics and data analysis support for HIV research within NIAID. Develop pipelines and collaborate with research teams to advance genomic and clinical studies.
What you’ll do
• Provide scientific consultation on bioinformatics and experimental design. • Support variant calling, gene expression, and comparative genomics analyses. • Develop and maintain high-throughput bioinformatics pipelines. • Perform computational data analysis on genomic and clinical data. • Contribute to scientific publications and resource development.
What you’ll bring
• Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance. • Bachelor's degree minimum; master's or doctorate preferred. • 4+ years bioinformatics experience, 2+ in pipeline development. • Expert in two programming languages: Python, R, C/C++, or bash. • Experience with containerization and pipeline frameworks.
