About the role
The Clinical Review Pharmacist reviews prior authorization requests and supports clinical programs to improve member and client outcomes. This role involves clinical decision-making, compliance, and providing guidance to providers, pharmacies, and members.
What you’ll do
• Review prior authorizations and appeals using clinical guidelines. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal regulations. • Document clinical decisions per regulatory standards. • Provide empathetic support to members and providers. • Stay current with clinical guidelines and policies.
What you’ll bring
• PharmD or BS Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school. • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of residence. • Minimum 2 years pharmacy practice experience. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Availability for after hours, weekends, and holidays.
