About the role
The Commis supports kitchen operations by preparing food, maintaining hygiene, and assisting the Chef de Partie. They ensure quality and portion control according to recipes and handle daily kitchen requisitions.
What you’ll do
• Pass information to next shift about functions. • Complete daily checklist on mise-en-place and food storage. • Attend meetings with Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef. • Report equipment failures and follow up repairs. • Maintain hygiene and HACCP records.
What you’ll bring
• Knowledge of Continental Cuisine. • Experience in star hotel or relevant industry. • Able to work under high pressure. • Creative and passionate about food service. • 2-3 years experience in similar role.
