About the role
The Compliance Officer based in Senegal manages banking relationships, local regulatory compliance, and internal reporting. They serve as the primary compliance contact for the WAEMU/BCEAO zone.
What you’ll do
• Oversee KYC onboarding and updates across Senegal. • Implement transaction monitoring systems. • Serve as primary AML/CFT contact in Senegal. • Maintain relationships with Senegalese regulators. • Conduct risk assessments and report compliance matters.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or related field. • 4–6 years compliance experience in banking or fintech. • Professional certifications like CAMS or ACAMS. • Knowledge of Senegalese and WAEMU AML/CFT regulations. • Fluency in French; English proficiency preferred.
