About the role
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer motherboards and related hardware components. Ensure optimal system performance through component-level repairs and testing.
What you’ll do
• Perform diagnostics and repair on laptop, desktop, and server motherboards. • Carry out micro-soldering tasks including SMD replacement and BGA reballing. • Read and interpret board view files and schematic diagrams. • Diagnose and repair liquid-damaged boards. • Replace faulty connectors and reprogram BIOS/UEFI chips.
What you’ll bring
• Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related discipline. • High School Diploma minimum. • Associate's Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or IT preferred. • Minimum 2 years hands-on motherboard repair experience.
