Construction Lab Technician

About the role
Conduct laboratory and field tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. Maintain accurate records and coordinate with engineers to resolve quality issues.
What you’ll do
• Perform field tests like soil compaction and concrete sampling. • Record test results and prepare reports. • Calibrate and maintain lab testing equipment. • Monitor material quality and report non-conformities. • Coordinate with site engineers and QA/QC team.
What you’ll bring
• OND, HND, or BSc in Civil Engineering or related field. • 2–5 years experience in construction materials testing. • Knowledge of soil, concrete, aggregate, asphalt testing. • Familiarity with ASTM, BS or other testing standards. • Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain records.
