About the role
Own protection and automation architecture for Anthropic's US data center portfolio. Develop relay settings, design substation automation, and lead utility interconnection protection.
What you’ll do
• Own protection philosophy and relay settings across electrical systems. • Specify protective relays and develop relay settings. • Perform and review short-circuit and coordination studies. • Design substation automation and SCADA architecture. • Lead testing, commissioning, and standards development.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years in power system protection engineering or substation automation. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Expertise with protective relays and major platforms. • Experience with short-circuit and arc-flash analysis tools. • Knowledge of utility interconnection protection requirements.
