About the role
Support geophysics data management and software applications for efficient seismic data handling. Coordinate with IT and geoscience teams to maintain and update geophysics databases and systems.
What you’ll do
• Provide manuals, advice and training on SISMAGE applications. • Test and suggest corrections to software, liaise with vendors. • Develop computer-based geophysics documents and charts. • Prepare formats and data for electronic data exchanges. • Coordinate disk space and environment management with IT.
What you’ll bring
• Good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and databases. • Experience in seismic data acquisition and geoscience data management. • Good interpersonal skills for multiple human interfaces. • Knowledge of LINUX, MAJIX, XRAI. • MSc or BSc in engineering/science/geophysics with experience. • Experience with SIS MAGE application.
