About the role
Support the transformation of federal classification and qualification standards to a competency-based framework. Collaborate with experts to align classification policy with modern assessment practices and skills-based hiring.
What you’ll do
• Collaborate with psychologists and policy teams to update classification standards. • Translate competency models into classification structures. • Develop competency-based qualification standards. • Align classification policy with assessment policy. • Support creation of tools and guidance for agency adoption.
What you’ll bring
• Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, FHRI. • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Public Administration, or related field. • Deep knowledge of OPM classification and qualification. • Experience with federal HR systems and ATS. • Familiarity with federal hiring regulations and SBH initiatives.
