About the role
Lead a distributed team of Site Reliability and Backend Engineers to ensure platform reliability and project delivery. Manage operational work and roadmap projects for job processing and caching platforms.
What you’ll do
• Lead, hire, and grow site reliability and backend engineers. • Own reliability for job processing and caching platforms. • Manage capacity planning and incident follow-ups. • Run first-tier on-call rotation and serve as incident commander. • Drive Redis upgrades and migrate to durable workflow engine.
What you’ll bring
• Experience managing engineering teams delivering high-performance services. • Technical depth in Redis and Sidekiq background job processing. • Experience managing reliability with service-level objectives. • Experience running 24/7 on-call rotations and incident coordination. • Experience leading fully remote teams across multiple time zones.
