About the role
The Revenue Specialist acts as liaison between clients and insurance companies, handling patient health information with privacy. Responsible for analyzing worker’s compensation claims and ensuring correct reimbursement.
What you’ll do
• Analyze worker’s compensation claim payments using proprietary software. • Research and submit medical records and supporting documentation. • Conduct telephone follow-up with payers for prompt reimbursement. • Prepare initial bill packets or appeal letters for Workers’ Comp claims. • Perform other duties as required.
What you’ll bring
• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred. • 1-2+ years healthcare billing or collections experience. • 1+ years client-facing/customer service experience. • Experience with workers compensation billing preferred. • Strong computer proficiency including MS Office.
