About the role
The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and supporting customer technical issues in the field.
What you’ll do
• Install, splice, terminate, and maintain fiber optic cables. • Handle aerial and underground fiber deployments. • Diagnose and resolve fiber faults and connectivity issues. • Use OTDR and testing equipment to troubleshoot faults. • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
What you’ll bring
• 1–3 years experience in fiber optics installation and maintenance. • Hands-on experience with fiber splicing and termination. • Experience using OTDR for fault detection. • Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. • Candidate must reside in Ibadan.
