About the role
Responsible for engineering and technical assurance of Fire & Gas detection systems on offshore platforms. Ensures hazard detection, prevention, mitigation, and emergency response provisions in facility design and operation.
What you’ll do
• Develop and review Fire & Gas detection philosophies and system specifications. • Conduct or review detector coverage studies for various hazards. • Review system architecture, alarm logic, and emergency shutdown interfaces. • Participate in hazard and safety assessments. • Support risk assessments and safety system evaluations.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline. • 8–12 years in technical safety or Fire & Gas engineering. • Experience with offshore Fire & Gas detection and emergency shutdown systems. • Knowledge of hazard assessment and safety system integration. • Familiarity with IEC, API, NFPA standards.
