About the role
Develop next-generation beam-position monitoring systems using FPGA and SoC technologies. Work on digital electronics, embedded systems, and real-time signal processing for CERN's accelerator complex.
What you’ll do
• Develop and test FPGA gateware and embedded SoC firmware. • Implement data acquisition and real-time signal-processing algorithms. • Validate system performance in lab and accelerator environments. • Perform data analysis using Python. • Assist measurement campaigns in accelerator complex.
What you’ll bring
• Experience in digital signal processing. • Experience with FPGA and SoC development. • Programming skills in Python and C++. • Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog. • English proficiency and willingness to learn French.
