About the role
Join the Starlink Collision Avoidance team to develop autonomous satellite collision avoidance algorithms and ground services. Ensure safe operation of thousands of satellites through advanced software and data analysis.
What you’ll do
• Design autonomous on-satellite collision avoidance algorithms. • Implement ground services for automated maneuver scheduling. • Develop tools and dashboards for system monitoring. • Run Monte Carlo analysis for feature performance. • Coordinate with third-party data providers and operators.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in software, engineering, physics or related field. • Experience in C++ or Python software development. • Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and systems engineering. • Familiarity with state estimation and Kalman filtering. • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
