About the role
Lead the design and execution of Moniepoint's debt collection framework to minimize loss given default. Oversee strategies for diverse credit products and manage the debt collection unit.
What you’ll do
• Design segmented debt collection framework by product and delinquency stage. • Recruit and build debt collection team and infrastructure. • Direct legal recovery strategy and ensure regulatory compliance. • Manage external stakeholder engagements for non-performing loans. • Develop incentive and performance frameworks for collections network.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field. • 7+ years in credit/debt recovery with senior leadership experience. • Knowledge of Nigerian debt recovery laws and banking regulations. • Experience with digital collections tools and analytics. • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
