About the role
The Heavy-Duty Mechanic will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty mechanical systems and equipment. The role requires technical expertise and adherence to safety standards.
What you’ll do
• Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty mechanical systems and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical faults in engines, hydraulics, pumps, drivetrains. • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals. • Ensure compliance with mechanical codes and safety regulations. • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
What you’ll bring
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 3–5 years experience as heavy-duty mechanic. • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • Ability to use diagnostic and mechanical measuring tools. • Familiarity with mechanical codes and safety standards.
