About the role
Responsible for design, engineering, and support of tooling for solid rocket motor manufacturing. Manage tooling projects to meet cost and schedule requirements.
What you’ll do
• Manage tooling projects and coordinate design and fabrication. • Work with manufacturing to meet quality and delivery goals. • Develop tooling concepts and improve manufacturing processes. • Deliver detailed tooling design documentation. • Support continuous improvement and supplier quality.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent. • 10-15 years tool design experience in solid rocket motor production. • Knowledge of composite winding, molding, machining, bonding. • Proficiency with CAD software and GD&T. • Experience with finite element analysis and tooling materials.
