About the role
This role supports mechanical engineering teams by building and maintaining infrastructure for surgical robots, manufacturing hardware, and neural implants. It involves managing SOLIDWORKS PDM systems and developing CAD automation tools.
What you’ll do
• Build foundations for mechanical engineers designing surgical robots and implants. • Own SOLIDWORKS and PDM performance and upgrades. • Administer PDM users, permissions, workflows, and vault performance. • Develop CAD CI for automated model validation and release. • Integrate PDM with design-controls and manufacturing systems.
What you’ll bring
• Experience administering SOLIDWORKS PDM or similar system. • Proficiency in Python, C#, Rust, or Go. • Systems administration on Windows, macOS, and Linux. • Knowledge of networking and securing on-prem equipment. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
