About the role
Responsible for accurate and timely verification of insurance and benefits information for patients. Supports financial health by ensuring financial clearance prior to service and maintaining accurate patient data.
What you’ll do
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. • Assign payer plan codes in electronic health records. • Communicate coverage details to patients and staff. • Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations. • Escalate complex cases and ensure HIPAA compliance.
What you’ll bring
• One year customer service experience preferred. • Healthcare or insurance verification experience preferred. • Experience with Epic system preferred. • Degree in healthcare administration preferred. • Ability to work 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM MST schedule.
