About the role
Join Western Digital's RAMP Internship Program to design and develop firmware for enterprise Hard Disk Drive products. Gain hands-on experience in an Agile environment with mentorship and professional development.
What you’ll do
• Design and maintain firmware for eHDD using best practices. • Develop data structures, algorithms, and drivers in C++ and Python. • Participate in technical investigations from problem to conclusion. • Create design documents for firmware development phases. • Devise testing strategies for complex drive features.
What you’ll bring
• Current student in Computer/Electronics Engineering or related field. • Knowledge of C, C++, Python, data structures, algorithms. • Preferred knowledge of micro-controller architecture and RTOS. • Strong problem solving and algorithm design skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
