About the role
Develop, test, commission, and maintain PLC-based control systems using the UNICOS-CPC framework at CERN. Collaborate with experts to support control systems across various domains.
What you’ll do
• Develop and maintain control applications for Siemens and Schneider PLCs. • Work with experts to specify and support control systems. • Maintain and develop tooling and testing infrastructure. • Evaluate emerging automation technologies.
What you’ll bring
• Background or interest in automation and control. • Experience with PLC programming using IEC 61131-3 languages. • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols is a plus. • Initial experience with Python. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
