About the role
Lead development of guidance firmware for virtual fencing on animal collars. Design algorithms and protocols for guiding cattle safely and reliably.
What you’ll do
• Own guidance firmware design and implementation. • Design guidance algorithms and virtual fencing logic. • Build in modern C++ on FreeRTOS with resource constraints. • Debug field issues using logs and telemetry. • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and animal experts.
What you’ll bring
• Experience with resource-constrained software systems. • Strong C++ fundamentals and design patterns. • Comfort with concurrency and real-time behavior. • Good judgement under uncertainty. • Strong ownership and team collaboration.
