About the role
Manage day-to-day legal functions including advice, contracts, disputes, and compliance. Support corporate governance and regulatory adherence as the sole in-house legal professional.
What you’ll do
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and project agreements. • Maintain corporate records and coordinate statutory filings. • Monitor laws and regulatory requirements for petroleum trading. • Manage contractual disputes and coordinate external counsel. • Develop legal controls and manage external legal advisers.
What you’ll bring
• Ability to analyze and negotiate commercial agreements. • Strong legal research and interpretation skills. • Knowledge of Nigerian corporate and regulatory requirements. • Experience in dispute and claims management. • Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
