About the role
Protect the client’s legal position and manage regulatory approvals and government relations for the Ajaokuta Mini Project. Support project transition from construction to commissioning and first gas.
What you’ll do
• Maintain legal and regulatory obligations register and permit tracker. • Draft, review and negotiate EPC and gas-related agreements. • Prepare regulatory applications and coordinate with authorities. • Maintain corporate governance records and compliance calendars. • Advise on disputes and manage external counsel.
What you’ll bring
• 7+ years legal practice in oil and gas or related sectors. • Experience drafting and negotiating EPC and gas commercial agreements. • Engage government agencies and regulators. • LL.B and call to Nigerian Bar. • Knowledge of Nigerian gas, environmental and corporate regulations.
