About the role
The Major and Planned Giving Officer supports donor relationships and secures resources to advance Earthworks' mission. This role manages major gifts and planned giving portfolios to raise significant annual funds.
What you’ll do
• Manage portfolio of 75-100 donors to raise $700K-$1M+ annually. • Create cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for donors. • Develop and implement planned giving program and strategy. • Coach staff and board on donor relationship skills. • Participate in fundraising strategic planning and events.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years experience in major gifts and planned giving. • Strong relationship building and donor cultivation skills. • Expertise in charitable gift planning and financial concepts. • Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills. • Experience with CRMs, preferably Salesforce.
