About the role
Lead the automation and controls engineering team for solid rocket motor manufacturing. Manage design, deployment, and sustainment of automated systems and controls.
What you’ll do
• Lead automation and controls engineering team and technical direction. • Design and qualify automated work cells and robotic systems. • Establish standards for controls design and system integration. • Oversee system commissioning and production support. • Manage vendor selection and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in Electrical or related Engineering required. • 8+ years in automation or controls engineering. • 3+ years leading engineers or technical lead experience. • Strong PLC programming and industrial automation skills. • Knowledge of functional safety and aerospace quality standards.
