About the role
Manage maintenance, repair, and capital improvements of kitchen and refrigeration equipment at venue. Oversee preventive maintenance and vendor management to ensure safe, reliable food and beverage operations.
What you’ll do
• Oversee maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems. • Manage preventive maintenance program and asset records. • Schedule and oversee project, repair, and emergency work. • Manage vendors, contractors, and union staff. • Ensure compliance with health, fire, and safety standards.
What you’ll bring
• 5-7 years building manager or engineer experience. • Strong technical background and engineering degree preferred. • Knowledge of 120v/208v/220v systems and NYC codes. • Must obtain FDNY COFs and CFC Universal Technician Certificate. • Ability to manage union mechanics and engineers.
