About the role
Lead Tala's ML Platform team to build platforms and infrastructure for scalable machine learning model operations. Manage and grow a team of Machine Learning Engineers while providing technical leadership.
What you’ll do
• Manage and develop a team of 4–6 Machine Learning Engineers. • Hire, interview, and close strong MLE talent. • Set quarterly goals and ensure team delivery. • Guide development of ML platforms and frameworks. • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ML solutions.
What you’ll bring
• 2+ years managing engineers including hiring and coaching. • 6+ years backend software engineering experience. • 3+ years hands-on Python experience. • Experience building and operating ML systems in production. • Strong knowledge of ML tools, cloud, streaming, and production engineering.
