About the role
Lead tooling engineering for solid rocket motor manufacturing tooling design and sustainment. Build and manage a team to deliver tooling for high-rate production and development.
What you’ll do
• Lead tooling engineering team and manage hiring and mentoring. • Design and qualify process tooling and fixtures for SRM hardware. • Establish tooling design standards and configuration control. • Partner with Manufacturing and Automation on tooling solutions. • Manage tooling maintenance and supplier coordination.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required. • 8+ years tooling design or manufacturing engineering experience. • 3+ years leading engineers or technical lead on tooling programs. • Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or NX) and GD&T. • Experience with aerospace quality systems and tooling for composites.
