About the role
Provide legal advice on maritime operations and manage maritime and commercial claims. Draft and negotiate contracts related to shipping and marine logistics.
What you’ll do
• Provide legal advice on maritime operations and shipping. • Draft and negotiate charter party and vessel hire contracts. • Advise on Nigerian maritime laws and regulatory compliance. • Manage maritime claims, disputes, and litigation. • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
• LL.B. degree and call to Nigerian Bar. • 5-8 years post-qualification maritime law experience. • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. • Strong knowledge of Nigerian maritime and commercial law. • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
