About the role
Provide legal, contractual, regulatory, and risk-management support for maritime operations. Manage contracts, ensure compliance, and support dispute resolution.
What you’ll do
• Advise on Nigerian maritime laws and regulatory compliance. • Review marine insurance and contractual liabilities. • Manage maritime claims, disputes, and litigation. • Draft and negotiate maritime and commercial contracts. • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
• 5-8 years post-qualification maritime law experience. • Strong knowledge of Nigerian maritime and commercial law. • Experience in shipping, offshore marine, oil and gas sectors. • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • LL.B. degree and call to Nigerian Bar.
