About the role
Design and analyze complex mechanical systems including actuators, igniters, and solid rocket motors. Perform simulations, material analysis, manufacturing planning, and technical communications for defense and space technology projects.
What you’ll do
• Apply fundamental design principles and solve complex design challenges. • Create intricate 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings. • Perform simulations and structural, thermal, and tolerance analyses. • Analyze materials and contribute to manufacturing planning. • Communicate technical information and prepare detailed reports.
What you’ll bring
• 4 to 7 years mechanical engineering experience. • Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent. • Able to travel approximately 10% of the time. • Must obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance. • U.S. Citizenship required for export regulations compliance.
