Mechanical Engineer, Starship Tooling

About the role
Design, build, and activate launch pad hardware, recovery systems, and production tooling for Starship. Own hardware end to end from concept to activation testing.
What you’ll do
• Design and analyze mechanical hardware for launch pads and tooling. • Perform engineering calculations and finite element analysis. • Create detailed models and engineering prints in NX. • Plan fabrication and manage internal and external teams. • Lead activation testing and in-field troubleshooting.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering. • 1+ years experience with NX, CATIA, Creo, or SolidWorks. • Proficiency in structural and machine design. • Strong fundamentals in statics, dynamics, and mechanics. • Ability to pass Air Force background check.
