About the role
Support development and design of locomotive control system solutions. Work on product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing and field support.
What you’ll do
• Support mechanical hardware solutions development using DFX methodologies. • Assist design, testing, and maintenance of remote control freight locomotive systems. • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering documentation. • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support engineering projects.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology. • Up to 2 years engineering experience via internships or employment. • Experience with 3D CAD modeling software. • Basic understanding of GD&T and mechanical design principles. • Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining and injection molding.
