About the role
Assist the Chief Medical Director to direct medical management, quality improvement, and credentialing functions. Provide leadership in utilization management, cost containment, and medical quality improvement activities.
What you’ll do
• Provide medical leadership for utilization management and quality improvement. • Perform medical review of complex and experimental services. • Support performance improvement initiatives for providers. • Assist in planning goals to improve care quality and cost-effectiveness. • Collaborate with clinical teams and providers on complex cases.
What you’ll bring
• MD or DO without restrictions. • Licensed in MO, IL, KS, IA, NE, MI, WI, IN, OH, or PA. • Board certified in Psychiatry specialty. • Experience in utilization management and quality standards. • Actively practicing medicine.
