About the role
The Medical Laboratory Scientist supervises and manages all aspects of medical laboratory services, ensuring quality control and timely processing of specimens. The role provides leadership to laboratory staff and collaborates with other departments for service delivery.
What you’ll do
• Set up and strengthen quality control/assurance programs. • Handle, log and process all laboratory specimens. • Ensure shortest turnaround time for specimen results. • Maintain laboratory logs and records. • Provide leadership and performance appraisal for lab staff.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science. • 2–5 years post NYSC experience. • Valid practicing license from Medical Laboratory Science Council. • Computer literate with good soft skills. • Master’s degree is an added advantage.
