About the role
Communicate with members to resolve delinquent accounts and promote account retention. Educate members to minimize non-performing asset accounts for the credit union.
What you’ll do
• Place and receive high volume inbound and outbound calls. • Negotiate repayment plans meeting credit union and member needs. • Investigate and resolve delinquent and negative account activity. • Initiate skip tracing to locate collateral. • Assist with new hire training and side by side coaching.
What you’ll bring
• High school diploma required. • Minimum two years collection experience. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of credit union and collection rules and regulations. • Ability to handle repossessions and foreclosure proceedings.
