About the role
Oversee shipment documentation, customs clearance, cargo transportation, and delivery ensuring efficiency and compliance. Coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and land.
What you’ll do
• Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare reports. • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and safety requirements. • Monitor and minimize demurrage and detention costs. • Obtain freight quotations and negotiate rates. • Coordinate shipment tracking and resolve delays.
What you’ll bring
• Relevant certification in logistics or freight forwarding advantageous. • BSc/HND in Logistics or related discipline. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and shipment tracking systems. • 4–6 years experience in freight forwarding or logistics. • Knowledge of Nigerian customs procedures and port operations.
