Overhead Line (OHL) Design Engineer

About the role
Design and execute overhead line projects for medium voltage grids. Perform technical calculations and coordinate with teams to ensure quality and compliance.
What you’ll do
• Lead or contribute to overhead line design for medium voltage grids. • Perform tower spotting, line profiling, and routing studies. • Conduct sag and tension calculations per standards. • Coordinate with Swedish internal teams. • Ensure technical compliance and design optimization.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. • At least three years experience in overhead power line design. • Strong competence in tower spotting or sag/tension calculations. • Familiarity with PLS-CADD or similar design tools. • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation.
