Performance Engineer

About the role
You will own benchmarking and profiling systems to detect regressions and explain performance changes. Build tooling and methodology for product teams to measure and communicate performance metrics.
What you’ll do
• Build and evolve benchmarking, profiling, and load-testing tooling. • Define benchmark suites reflecting real customer behavior. • Establish performance baselines and regression gates. • Build mechanisms to turn benchmark results into action. • Partner with database teams to identify bottlenecks.
What you’ll bring
• Deep experience in performance engineering and benchmarking. • Strong systems intuition in databases, storage, networking. • Comfortable working across product, infra, and database teams. • Pragmatic, tooling-oriented mindset with strong communication. • Depth in Linux kernel or database internals.
