About the role
Work closely with welders and QC inspectors to fit, align, and prepare piping spools for welding and testing. Fabricate and install high-pressure piping systems and structural supports per engineering drawings and quality standards.
What you’ll do
• Perform tack welding to hold assemblies per Welding Procedure Specifications. • Assemble and install piping systems and equipment hook-ups on site and in yard. • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment policies including rigging and PPE use. • Align and fit pipes, fittings, flanges, elbows, and valves using precision tools. • Read and interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with QC Inspectors for inspections.
What you’ll bring
• Strong safety knowledge including hot work and rigging protocols. • Physical stamina, teamwork, and attention to detail. • Knowledge of piping materials and fitting types per ANSI, ASME standards. • Familiarity with workshop tools and basic tack welding. • OND or relevant technical certification in Mechanical/Metal Fabrication. • Bachelor's or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
