About the role
Lead mission formulation and architecture development for space missions. Manage engineering teams and perform mission-level analyses to design cost-effective space missions.
What you’ll do
• Develop mission concepts based on customer needs. • Perform mission-level analysis and manage top-level budgets. • Define requirements and design for missions and instruments. • Use software tools for engineering trade studies. • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to meet objectives.
What you’ll bring
• B.S. or higher in engineering with 12+ years space mission experience. • Excellent communication and coordination skills. • Spacecraft and mission design experience. • Software skills in Python, Julia, Matlab, C, or C++. • Active TS/SCI clearance and travel to Mountain View.
