About the role
The Procurement Officer manages sourcing and purchasing of industrial materials and equipment. They ensure cost control and vendor management within a manufacturing environment.
What you’ll do
• Negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships. • Source industrial raw materials and mechanical components. • Manage procurement processes and inventory control. • Monitor supplier performance and evaluate suppliers. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring
• 3–5 years procurement experience in steel manufacturing. • Bachelor's Degree or HND in related field. • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. • Knowledge of procurement policies and cost control.
