About the role
Analyze market intelligence and decision-making for tanker and dry bulk markets. Focus on mispricing, market timing, risk, and performance frameworks.
What you’ll do
• Operate and extend live terminal of S&P and TC-in/out opportunities. • Co-develop models to anticipate market peaks and troughs. • Quantify fleet exposure under different market scenarios. • Measure outcomes of decisions on a like-for-like basis. • Curate and expand proprietary datasets and analytical tools.
What you’ll bring
• Strong grounding in regression, time-series, probability, machine learning. • Experience or strong interest in shipping markets. • Proficiency in Python and SQL. • 3–5 years in markets-focused analytical role. • Comfortable iterating quickly from hypothesis to prototype.
